Close up magic:
Close up magic is when a magician performs smaller magic tricks with cards, coins, jewellery etc.
It can be performed mixing and mingling at a drinks reception type setting, the magician can move from table to table and entertain each table at a time, or it can be performed as a parlour show which is similar to how you would watch a stage magic performance.
In my opinion close up magic is the strongest type of magic. Because it's performed close up (hence the name), sometimes the magic even happens in the spectators hands and the reactions that you get from those situations can rarely be replicated in a stage show.
Don't get me wrong, stage magic is amazing and it's fantastic for audiences to see some of the larger illusions but from years of listening to feedback from past clients and people who have been in my audiences, I know that when magic is performed up close it has the strongest effect.
How many times have you watched a magician on TV and thought to yourself that you would be able to figure it out if you were actually there?
Kids shows:
I do a 60min kids magic show which is jam packed full of funny and entertaining magic routines for children. There's no long winded routines in my shows, it's action all the way.
Ialso choose volunteers to help during the show, and any kids who are lucky enough to be picked as a volunteer will receive a really nice character balloon model prize as a thank you for helping.

The Birthday child will get the chance to come up on stage, they will make the magic happen themselves, I'll make them look good in front of their friends, and then I'll present them with an extra special character balloon model.
This will be an awesome experience for them and a Birthday party they will remember for the rest of their lives
As with all of my shows the format is ‘fast paced, visual and funny’ and the kids will constantly be laughing and shouting out. There are no long-winded, drawn out magic tricks in my shows. It’s action all the way.
The show is designed for a Birthday party, but I also regularly perform the show at Christenings, Weddings, Holiday parks, and even on board Cruise ships.
My kids shows are suitable for ages 4 and up.
